Accountability is expected and respected in any strides toward growth and development. You'll likely find a stronger drive to be accountable when surrounded by people who set standards and boundaries for whomever wishes to be in their company. When a child joins a sports team or club, they quickly learn to be responsible as they develop an awareness that they represent something bigger than themselves. Any form of group activity tends to shed light on team members who are not trustworthy of managing their share of the workload. The entire team suffers when expectations aren't met. There may be times when goals are achieved despite a lacking effort. Do not get comfortable contributing minimal or useless efforts. Your purpose is intended to serve more than yourself. Regardless of your group dynamic, each contribution is important and determines a later outcome. Focus on being mindful of yourself, your efforts, and your ability to positively or negatively impact your team. Accountability breeds success!!
